We do not want to dispose our apartment now, just look into buying extra place. Thinking of buying HDB second hand under my name only.
Hi Jenie, Unfortunately, HDB regulations forbid your husband from keeping the private apartment if you decide to go ahead with the purchase of the resale HDB, as you will require your husband to be at least the essential occupier to form a proper family neucleus in order to be eligible to purchase the resale HDB. If you are working on getting an additional place, why not consider a private property with low quantum? Evening Jenie, Being married, you are considered as an entity with your spouse. Hence, it is not possible for you to purchase the HDB unit on your own, without the need to add your spouse as the co-owner. FYI Mike Lim 96929209  m52i@yahoo.com ERA Read More
