Good morning buyers,

first and foremost, just a reminder. SPR household must be SPRs for at least 3 years to be eligible to purchase a resale HDB.

Usually law firm will advise buyers to pay in cash first because CPF board might not be able to release funds fast enough to pay IRAS.

If you are keen to find out more on the flowchart of a typical resale HDB purchase, I am willing to share mine with you. May I know what's your email address?

I had assisted a couple SPR buyers in purchasing their first resale HDB below valuation last year. Hope both of you will benefit from me as well.

Morning,

Both of you need to be SPR for at least 3 years before you are eligible to the purchase of resale HDB unit. 5% ABSD is payable by cash within 14 days from exercise of OTP.

Hi,

Both of you need to be SPR for at least 3 years before you can apply for resale hdb. ABSD is payable in cash first, however it can be refunded later from your OA if you have sufficient monies in the account. Thanks and hope to assist with your purchase further.

1. ABSD will need to be paid in cash first as CPF board will not be able to disburse the money in time. However, if you have more than sufficient money in your OA account, it can be refunded to you subsequently.
