Hi, my fiancee is not working and does not have any CPF contribution
We're planning to get a BTO with HDB loan & she will be the co-owner of the house. Is it possible for me to pay the HDB loan by just using my CPF OA instead of both of our CPF OA

Yes, that’s possible. Even if your fiancée doesn’t have any CPF contributions, she can still be a co-owner of the BTO. For the HDB loan repayment, you can use only your CPF Ordinary Account (OA) to service the monthly instalments. HDB does not require both owners to contribute if one party doesn’t have CPF savings.

Just make sure:
• Your CPF OA has enough funds to cover the downpayment and monthly repayments.
• You’ve accounted for other expenses like stamp duty and miscellaneous fees.
• HDB is informed that she is a co-owner without CPF contribution—it’s standard practice.

Hi,

1) Yes, this is workable.
2) The HDB officer will ask how you are going to finance your loan at the completion.
3) You will be required to fill forms on how much to deduct from your CPF OA and GIRO form for your bank monthly deduction.
4) If your financee is not assisting in the mortgage payment, she will not requierd to sign any of such forms.
