Hi, my fiancee and I (first timers and both under 35) are intending to purchase a HDB resale flat as owner and essential occupier. We have the following queries:
1) Is it possible to purchase a HDB resale flat under one owner and one essential occupier, and will the essential occupier be able to purchase another property after the 5 year MOP without incurring ABSD?
2) Will we still be eligible for first timer grants and proximity housing grants under this scheme?
3) Is it true that only the owner will be able to use his/her CPF to make payment for the flat and only his/her income will be assessed in determining the quantum of the loan provided by HDB/Banks?
