Hi, my current flat which I brought from the open market ,I did not Hv any grant,I intend to sell , now my new bto flat I brought from is hdb , do I need to pay levy for bto.how much is the levy?

Hi Serene, could I ask whether the current flat that you bought from the open market years ago is also the 1st flat that you ever purchase?

    No, 2nd flat and both flat is from open market and without subsidy and no grant taken

You will not be liable for any resale levy if you didnt obtain any housing grant unless you have taken any housing grant before current flat.

Hi,

BTO is considered a subsidized flat. If this is your 2nd subsidy taken, a resale levy is applicable. Levy amount depends on the type of 1st subsidized flat sold and when it was sold.

For this BTO, did you manage to get a queue number to select the unit? May I have more info and requirements about your plans so to make better recommendations? Thanks and look forward to value-add to your housing plans.

You are not liable to pay any resale levy since resale HDB is not consider as subsidized flat, unless you have received grant for the purchase.

If your current unit is your first HDB purpose and you have not taken any housing grant, you are not liable for resale levy payment for the BTO unit.
However, it would be good to know when is the key collection date so that we can match the time frame on the sales. This is to allow fund from your current unit be to used for the purchase.
