hi, my current boyfriend and i are intending to get a resale HDB flat but i am in the midst of surrendering another HDB tt was purchased with my ex boyfriend in December last yr. i am debarred from taking another HDB concessionary loan within 30mths from the last loan disbursement. but will it be possible to appeal to HDB? by the time the flat is surrendered it would have been 12mths since the loan disbursement. appreciate any advice. has anyone known of any successful appeal of such?

Good morning Stella,

Based on your statement, your ex-boyfriend is using HDB loan for his upcoming purchase hence you are not eligible for it. I would believe that an agreement had been made between the both of you on that hence it would be unlikely that HDB will grant concession on that unless you are appealing on ground of hardship or bankruptcy.
Alternatively, you and your current boyfriend can apply for bank mortgage on this purchase.
