Dear Raymond,

Is your son already 21years old? You will only be eligible to apply for brand new EC 30 months after your disposal of the condo provided you are meet all other eligibility criteria.

Hi Raymond, you need to wait 30 months before you apply new EC. You can consider resale EC or private properties.

Hi Raymond,

Unfortunately no, after removing ownership from your condo, you still need to wait out 30 months before you can apply new EC. It will not be an issue if you are buying resale EC that has reached MOP of 5 years.

Unfortunately, if you disposed off your condo either through sales or transfer, you need to serve a wait out for a period of 30 months from the date of disposal before being eligible to apply for an EC. I regret to inform you that you're not eligible to apply for a brand new EC direct from a Developer at this moment.

In order to be eligible to apply for an EC, you will have to meet these 3 criteria:
1) not taken more than once subsidized housing previously;
2) dispose off your interest in your private property, and wait out 30 months.
3) form a valid family nucleus, with a combined household income of not more than $16k.
