Hi, me and my husband are listed as essential occupiers in an HDB executive flat , with our 39 year old son as the owner. Is there any way we can take our name out from the essential occupier list? We would like to move out and buy a new place for our own. We have lived here for more than 5 years. Thank you

Evening Nicole,

Your son managed to purchase this unit when he's below the age of 35 as it would bought under Public scheme, staying with parents. If both of you want to withdraw your names, your son must either be married or above the age of 35.

Do feel free to contact me for further discussion.
