Dear sir/mdm,

Yes, only PRs who have met the 3 years period will be eligible to purchase resale HDB flats under the schemes available. For example, for both husband and wife who are PR, both will be required to meet the 3 years period.

I am quite curious though, why have you shortlisted a DBS resale flat?

DBSS resale flat is still HDB flat, that's why still need wait for 3 years. If got enough money, can consider to buy resale condo, a lot of new PRs don't want to wait for 3 years.

Hi,

Yes, DBSS is also considered as HDB flat, so the HDB rules applies. SPR/SPR family will need both SPRs to fulfill 3 years of SPR before being eligible to purchase a HDB flat. If there is one Singapore Citizen in the family nucleus, it will not be required to fulfill the 3 years.
