You can buy any size of hdb flat. If you are buying for the first time and income S$3k or below, you can get a HDB loan plus grant. Alternatively, you can get a bank loan for the hdb flat purchase. You can reach me at 91007263

Income ceiling is only applicable if you intend to apply for HDB grant otherwise you are free to buy any HDB unit.

Hi Hui Ling,

There is no restriction on room types you can purchase. Even if your gross income exceeds $3000, you can purchase 3 room flat.

Income ceiling is applicable if you are applying for the CPF housing grant and HDB loan. Your income has to be $3000 gross and below.

If your gross income exceeds $3000, you will need to apply for a bank loan.
