Hi, Just wondering if any kind souls can help me on this qs?

I got a 3rm unit from hdb from sale of bal flat 5yrs ago and will be purchasing a resale 5room unit sometime in May/Jun..

Currently, I'm wondering if I shd take the $30,000 housing grant for e upcoming resale unit. If I am not taking the grant from hdb, does it mean that 5yrs later when I reach the MOP for my new 5room, I can still purchase a DBSS or EC from hdb?

Each eligible Singaporean household can buy the following housing unit only twice:
a flat from the HDB;
a resale flat with the CPF Housing Grant*;
a DBSS flat from developer;
an EC unit from developer.

Hi Lime,

Good for you to have done some homework for your upcoming sale and purchase. You are right in the extracted statements from HDB website that you are entitled to 2 purchases direct from HDB or EC unit from developer.

My advise to you is to take 1 step at a time for your planning as we are not sure if any new regulations will be implemented.
