Hi,

I've been staying in new hdb flat for 2 years, relocated due to SERS. would like to know whether is it ok that i sell off the flat now n get a private property? what are the levy i need to pay hdb? and any other charges i need to pay? (assuming i have reason/approval from hdb to sell without the 5 yrs MOP)

you need to pay levy only when you purchase a new flat direct from hdb the second time the levy amount depends on the room type 30k for 3room 40k - 4rm, 45k - 5rm and 50k for EA
actually the levy will be compound to the selling price of your second new flat.
as u only stay at the flat for 2 years u really have to check with hdb for special approval to sell your flat.

    Hi Alvin, thks for yr reply. Assuming if my combined hsehold income is > 8k, i wil nt be able to buy direct frm hdb so i wil nt need to pay the extra levy right? But of cos i now need to get a resale, thn wat abt the loan, can i still get hdb loan for my resale?

    But if i buy resale n gt enbloc again? Any levy or penalty?
