Good evening buyer,
buying a resale EC is unlikely buying a resale HDB.
You are buying as if its a private property. You WONT have to fulfill any restriction like income ceiling ($14k for new EC) or 5 years MOP (resale HDB or new EC).
But do take note that seller's stamp duty period will still be applicable.
If you sell your property within first 3 years of ownership, these are the rates:
1) 1st year: 12%
2) 2nd year: 8%
3) 3rd year: 4%
