Hi, in considering to buy a walk up apartments, will any en-bloc potential be hampered by the commercial shop units below? Is there any MCST that is responsible for maintenance of such walk up apartments? Any recommendations for good walk up apartments? Thank you.

Depending on the size of the shops and how the MCST shares are structured, usually commercial shops has more share value than your normal walk-up apartments.

A MCST is usually set up to take care of a private project with more than 2 units (having different owners) sharing the same plot of land.

You might want to look at D14, Geylang which has quite a number of walk up apartments with such deposition.
