Hi I'm staying in a 1 Bedroom EC with my wife that is about to complete MOP in 2 to 3 months. With the current temporary cooling measures, I must wait 15 months before being able to apply for a resale HDB flat. I am currently working 2 jobs to pay off some personal loans from failed business endevour. I would like to sell my EC and buy a resale flat in order to pay off my debts. How should I go about drafting my appeal letter to HDB to request for waiver of the 15-month wait period?

It will strengthen the case if you have a combination of reasons for doing so, with financial difficulty being one of them and also possible family altruistic reasons. Happy to work together and see how we can draft the appeal to give it a try if I can have more info.
