Unfortunately no, both of you are considered married entity family nucleus hence need to apply together. You have to remove your name from current house after purchasing EC/HDB.

Good evening,

Your SPR spouse can only purchase resale HDB unit or EC with you as both of you forms a family nucleus. If he wants to purchase property under his own name, he is only eligible for private condo.

Your husband can only purchase a private residential property under his sole name. Take note that as a PR, he is liable for 5% ABSD.

If he plans to buy a EC or HDB, he will have to form a family nucleus with you. This will require you to dispose off your interests in the property with your mother.
