Hi, i'm PR from Malaysia & currently planning to buy an 4 room HDB flat with my wife, but i have a property in M'sia under me & my father joint ownership, does it will affect to get a HDB flat?

Afternoon Alan,

For PR, you are only eligible for resale HDB unit. You are required to remove your name from your current property before you are eligible for the purchase.

Hi Alan,

Is either you dispose your overseas property, transfer ownership to your dad if not it will be pretty difficult to own a resale HDB in Singapore.

You can try to appeal to HDB before you act.
