Hi, I'm looking for a resale flat, but can't decide yet whether to take 4 rm or 5rm.

If I apply for a HLE beforehand, which options should I select, 4rm or 5rm? If I select 4rm but eventually decided to buy 5rm, or select 5rm but ended up buying a 4rm,
will it affect the transactions at later stage?

Appreciate any advice!

Why not apply for HLE under 5 room flat? This will provide you with the possible buffer required should you really intend to go for one. However, the most important factor will be affordability.

you should apply for 5 room first. Btw, the initial stage is to assess you max loan quantum and get the IPA. Until you confirm an unit and received the OTP then apply the actual loan. Please drop me an email for me to share the details.
