Hi Im curious regarding to selling of property my current unit is melody spring based on market evaluation as of now 2024 is 400-500k after 2 more years mop I believe is around 600 or more but I want to bro again for the same 4 room flat am I eligible and also based on the profits from the sale how am I able to find my CPF for my next house .

Sorry very green horn here sorry if I ask questions in advance as I had 2 more years till mop

Good morning,

You will be eligible to apply for BTO if you are a second timer. Do bear in mind that resale levy of $40k will be applicable.

Process should be about the same as per what you had went through for your existing HDB.

Advisable to work out your numbers to assess whether can proceed without selling your HDB as there are payments to be made at different stages.

Hi, do not worry about this as there are many possible scenario for you in this case. In that many years to come, the rules might have changed but usually what happens is as follows:

1) Fulfill your MOP in 2years time
2) Apply for an HFE to see if you eligible to purchase another BTO
3) This is where you can choose, either to sell your HDB and find an alternative location to stay(not ideal), or apply for another BTO
4) Closer to your second BTO completion, sell your current HDB.

Yes you are able to use the CPF OA, depend on your next loan whether HDB or bank loan.
For BTO again, require to pay resale levy.

Yes, you should be eligible to BTO as a 2nd timer unless you do not qualify for BTO due to the criteria like family income, and do take note that in such cases, you will be subjected to resale levy.
