Hi,

1) Inform the HDB branch office that you are the administrator of this flat, and assist you to register an intent to sell it.
2) Once the HDB has done the necessary, you will be able to log in using your Singpass under the resale portal to register the intent to sell for it.
3) Technically, you will have up to 6 months to sell this flat from the date you were appointed as administrator.

Good afternoon,

The first step is to inform the Bedok HDB Branch that you have been appointed the Administrator to manage the sale of the property, and the branch officer will assist with the necessary. Once they have registered on the system, you will be able to singpass login on the resale portal to do an Intent to Sell, which is the required 1st step before any OTP can be issued.

It takes approx 3.5 months from the date of 1st deposit to the legal completion date, excluding marketing time needed to secure the buyer. I am very familiar with this location and am in touch with a few buyers who are looking to move back to this location. Look forward to collaborate on the sale as well.

We can kickstart the marketing process now but only eligible to issue option to purchase (OTP) on or after 7 days from the date you register intent to sell.

Legal process might take up 3.5 to 4 months.

Yes, if you have obtained the Letter of Administration, you will have the legal authority to sell the HDB flat of the deceased owner.

If you are looking to sell, you will need to notify HDB after the probate or letter of administration is ready. Set up an appointment with the designated HDB branch office. The executor or administrator needs to go to the branch office in person to sign the necessary documents. He/ She will also have to prepare the following:

The will (if available)
The grant of probate or Letter of Administration
A copy of all the beneficiaries and the executor’s NRIC
The title deed (if available)
Death certificate
Pay fees @ HDB Office

timeline would depend on HDB side as it's handled on case by case basis.
