Good afternoon buyer,

You are only eligible to purchase a BTO or SOBF with your fiancé after you dispose off your overseas property and observe a waiting period of 30 months. Kindly refer to the link taken from HDB website below:

Alternative, you might want to consider resale HDB or private property.

Hi, under HDB rules, you will need to dispose your Malaysia property and wait for 30 months before you can apply for BTO flats.

If you do not wish to wait for so long, you may consider resale flat whereby you can buy the HDB first, then arrange to dispose your Malaysia property within 6 months after completion of the HDB flat. However if you prefer to keep the Malaysia property, you will only be allowed to buy private apartments here.

Hi,

As mentioned, you have to dispose your overseas property and wait out a 30month period before you can apply for BTO or Balance of Flats exercise. You may want to consider resale flats or private condos in Sengkang, where you have plenty of options. However, for resale flats, you still have to sell your overseas property, but for private condos you need not do so. Thanks and hope to assist with your housing plans further.
