Hi,

I'm 33yrs old this year and has been a divorcee (with no dependant). Currently staying with my parents in a 4-room flat in Hougang together with my 2 siblings. Previous home from my previous marriage has been sold for more than 4years. Now, I would like to purchase a unit for myself. Do I have to wait till I turn 35years before I can purchase a unit or I can try to apply now? If I'm eligble to purchase, how do I proceed with the application via HDB?

Please advise. thanks.

Afternoon Ms. Diah,

Singles are not eligible for BTO units hence you must wait for another two years to be eligible. Single SC are only eligible to purchase resale HDB unit of nothing more than 5 room flat.
