Hi,

if the HDB valuation turns out to be way below the agreed selling price, can I re-negotiate the selling price with the seller? Must I start the entire process again? e.g. seller issue OTP and new agreed selling price, and buyer request to do valuation again? The recent valuation which I just did can it be use for the new OTP? Thanks for your valuable advice.

Hi, you need to wait for the OTP to lapse and then restart the whole process again and of course lower the selling price being written on the new set of OTP.

Hi,

Yes, you can re-negotiate with the Seller again. If the Seller is agreeable to sell to you at a lower price, then both parties will pen down another set of OTP, and Buyer will have to re-apply for a valuation for the flat.

Thank you.

Hi,

1) Yes, you may re-negotiate with the seller if the seller is keen to sell.
2) Yes, you have to redo all processes after the current OTP expired.
3) 1 valuation report only valid for 1 OTP number. Thus your past valuation report cannot be reused for a new OTP.

Hope the above answer to your main concerns, but if there are more query, please feel free to contact me at 90110636  , or email: ling.ck7@gmail.com if more information is needed.
I'll be glad to assist.
