If you add her name, they will have to sell off their existing hdb. If you are 35 years old single and above, can purchase on your sole name no issue.

Hi there, your parents are consider one entity in the eyes of HDB, hence both their name would be together for HDB ownership either as owner or occupier. next option would be for you to own a HDB on your own on single scheme which requires u to be at least 35 years old. another alternative would be to consider private housing. for that we would have to sit down to go through your finances in order to determine what's the best route forward. do drop me a text/call for a more detailed discussion on how best we can move going forward. Based on what you've mentioned, it seems that adding her name to the purchase would require them to sell off their existing HDB.
