Hi Elynn,

As per mentioned by my colleague Frankie, you may begin the activities proper to market your unit on 1st August 2012 onwards. Nevertheless, you may wish to start interviewing agentes prior to the start of marketing to determine if they are the right person to assist you in marketing your unit, should you decide that you will be engaging the services of an agent.

Evening Elynn,

As you are selling and buying another unit, we would need to sit down and work things out. We need to plan for which school you are looking to house your boys into, the upcoming unit's specification which you have in mind, the financial computation to facilitate the move and lastly, to ensure all are timed well for the move and settling in.
As of now, I only know your MOP date but nothing else, hence it's tough for me to advise.

You may start sometime mid July, but the OTP can be issed after 1st Aug.

There are also other things you need to plan and work together with your agent. Best if you appoint a sole agent to help. Are you looking to do contra? Or you intend to buy first, sell next or vice versa. Timing is important factor when comes to upgrading, to avoid you have no plac eto stay after selling. HDB valuation also need to be done prior to selling your unit.
