Hi, If I bought a resale flat (second time buyer, first time directly from HDB), with a hdb loan but without housing grant, will I still be eligible to buy EC after that? Do I still have to serve a MOP on the resale flat?

Yes. U need to fulfill MOP for resale. After that u can apply for an EC if u fulfill the other requirements. U can contact me at 81824811  if you have any queries. Regards KB. Read More

Hi Mr Rai,

You will still be eligible to purchase a new EC after purchasing a resale flat without housing grant and after fulfilling its MOP of 5 years.

Why you can? Because you purchased one subsidised flat (BTO) only. If you decide to apply for housing grant in your resale flat purchase then you will not be eligible for new EC purchase in future.
