Hi,
If its a new EC that you have purchased directly from Developer, yes once MOP of 5 years is up, you can purchase resale HDB. However, do note you have to sell away your EC to SC or SPR buyers. Current policy requires private property owners to sell away their private property after purchasing resale hdb.
