Hi I would like to seek your advice I am Singaporean lady and I had bought a 4-room BTO HDB in year 2004 with my ex-spouse. We divorced 3+years ago and sold the HDB with equal splits during divorce. Few months ago i just re-married to a non-Malaysian SPR. We plan to buy new BTO or newly MOP resale HDB. My question is will I be considered a second timer or first timer? My spouse is new SPR never bought any HDB or private property before. We don't have children. I want to know chances of me getting the HDB grants for first timer below $8000k income. Any advice appreciated Thank you very much

Afternoon, Since you have purchased your first unit directly from HDB, you will be considered as second timer on your upcoming application. You will also not be eligible for housing grant, if you opt to purchase resale HDB unit.vSPR have no entitlement to BTO unit, and to purchase one, they need another SC to form a family nucleus. Do feel free to contact me if you require further assistance. Regards Mike Lim 96929209  m52i@yahoo.com ERA Read More
