The procedures of buying resale HDB flat in woodlands area is the same as for other area.

(1) To idendify your preferred location
(2) To check on your financial status, cash and CPF
(3) Apply for HLE or IPA and seek approval before starts out on your search
(4) Run search for current listing
(5) View (knows what to look out for during a viewing)
(6) Negotiate (understand current market rate, and how to estimate the correct price)
(7) Offer option fee to exchange for OTP
(8) Submit for valuation
(9) Exercise OTP if valuation price is according to your expectation
(10) Submit resale application
(11) Submit all document requested by HDB
(12) Attend HDB appointment and sign all document inclusive of S&P.
(13) Collect keys and apply all necessary services.
