Hi, I will be getting with my non-citizen spouse next year. I will be 28 years old, and she will be 25. Both working in Singapore for the past 12 months, but she has yet to apply for PR. My monthly salary is $3300, and her's is $2200. I will have about $40,000 in my CPF ordinary account. What are my chances of getting a loan from HDB? Will the single grant be applicable for use in the initial deposit? Am looking for a 4-bdroom HDB near Sengkang.

You can vistit https://services2.hdb.gov.sg/webapp/BP27MaxLoan/BP27PMax1.jsp to check an estimated loan amount. The grant can use as initial deposit. Do feel free to SMS/Call me at 9273 6096  if you got other questions.

Hi David,
A SG citizen can purchase resale hdb with non-citizen spouse. But only citizen can finance the loan. Hence base on your salary of 3.3k, the estimated HDB loan is about 200k. The grant can be used for initial down payment. Please drop me an email for me to share more of the details with you.

Good morning,

You can apply for single grant under non-citizen spouse scheme as your income is less than $6k. However, with that, you might not have sufficient funds to purchase 4 room flat in Sengkang. It would be good for us to meet up and out on your financial status before moving forward.
