The loan assessment for HDB is on the basis of 30% Mortgage Servicing Ratio, where a maximum of 30% of your income can be used for your monthly loan repayment.
The basis will be to use your existing income and deducting your monthly financial commitments like credit cards and other loans, where the balance will be considered. Hope this helps!
