Hi, I’m a Singaporean that owns a HDB with my parents but the MOP is not up yet. Planning to get married with my GF whom she is a PR and owns a condo here.

Is there any issue for us to get married? Do we need to dispose off any one of the property?

Eventually if we are married, is it a mandate to list her as occupier in the HDB?

Hi,

1) Under the HDB ruling, an occupier does not need to observe HDB MOP restriction.
2) Thus after you married she is just an occupier, she is not required to dispose of her private property.
3) It is mandated to register where she lives. This is under National Registration Act.

Hope the above answer to your main concerns, but if there are more query, please feel free to contact me at 90110636  , or email: ling.ck7@gmail.com if more information is needed.
I'll be glad to assist.
