Hi,

I planning to buy a HDB under foreign spouse scheme. However my HFE maximum loan + CPF + Grants + cash can’t even afford the cheapest 2rm flexi flat (TOP 1987 above). The short fall is 40k. Is it possible to get personal loan from bank to cover? Will it affect my loan with hdb?

I guessed it’s not a wise choice but I’m having a 3k monthly rental for my family of 4. So I’m thinking rather pay the interest to bank then to wait until I’m 35 years to buy a BTO and wait another 3 to 4 years to build…

Any kind souls willing to advise? Thank you!
