Hi,

I own a HDB flat with my parents which I bought in August 2018, MOP is not up. My fiance owns a private property. If we were to get married, does my wife have to give up her private property or pay ABSD for her property. Thanks

Hi,

1) Your fiance does not need to give up her private property when you get married now.
2) Since she is not the owner of the current HDB flat, her property count will remain as 1. Therefore not subject to any ABSD.
