Hi,

I need to check whether appeal for MOP will work for my cases.

My MOP date = End of March 2017
My Wife EDD = March 2017

As you can see my wife EDD and MOP date is crash. I currently staying in 3 room flat in AMK (796 sqft) and living with 1 child plus 2 of my sibling.

If i write an appeal letter to HDB. Will they accept my reason?

Congratulations on the upcoming newborn and plans for upgrading. Indeed it seems quite a handful based on your situation moving forward given that I have 4 kids myself and also living under a roof with extended family.

Nevertheless, as it is not within the regulation to put up your unit for sale in the open market, you will require approval from HDB to do so and we are unable to advise what could be the success rate in this appeal. From our understanding, all cases submitted are reviewed on a case to case basis therefore even if 2 families appealed with same reason, the outcome of appeal could be different.
