Hi, i lookind to cancel my New BTO flat after signing the leasing agreement. After that i wanted to buy a resale HDB but understand there is a clause for cancellation of the new BTO - it stated i cannot buy a resale flat with a CPF Housing Grant (including an Additional CPF Housing Grant) . what does it mean ? Does it mean i cant take cpf grant to buy resales or i cant buy a resale that the previous owner had took a grant before ?

Good morning Sir/ Mdm,

It might mean that you are not eligible to obtain housing grant if you purchase a resale HDB.

It will be best to check with HDB directly on what the drawbacks for cancelling your BTO purchase.
