Hi, I live in a non-subsidized HDB flat for sixteen years with my wife and fourteen year old son. My wife is the joint owner of this flat. If I transfer my ownership to my wife completely along with paying the CPF contribution to CPF, am I eligible to buy a EC with my son as joint owner?

Afternoon Kenneth,

Being married, you and your wife is considered as one entity. Hence you will not be eligible to transfer the ownership to your wife completely. With this in mind, the purchase of your second property will be something to work on.
