Hi Ms. Zang,

1) This is one of the disadvantages DIY buyers faced. You have no one to ask when things happen.
2) You can meet the lawyer now but nothing can be done, just meeting only.
3) Meeting the lawyer is to sign all required documents for the purchase, and if possible settle all payments at once. So that you don't have to waste your precious time going to the law firm.
4) The lawyer only can prepare the necessary document after receiving the approval letter from HDB.
5) You can find this approval letter via email or can be found under your MYHDB. Usually is around 2 weeks after your application is accepted by HDB.
6) You are supposed to inform the lawyer of your CPF usage for conveyance and stamp duty if sufficient.
7) Since you are using a bank loan, you have to prepare a cashier order for that. The lawyer can advise the exact amount, do check with them.
8) You have to prepare a cashier order as well if there is a COV for this purchase.
