Hi, I have just gotten my 5-room hdb in late -2020 and we have a household of 4. However, due to covid, I visit my parents often and we are unable to do so. hence we decided to move back temporarily (for a few months). Will we be able to change address? So far we have only one of our bedrooms rented out. Unsure if we will be renting out more in the near future.

Hi,

1) Your question is regarding changing of address which has something to do with National Registry Act.
2) Under this act, all ID cardholders need to report a change of address within 28 days of moving into a new residence, whether the residence is located in or outside of Singapore.
3) I'm quite confused about where you are staying now from the info provided. Not sure where is this "move back" referring to.
