Hi,

I bought a subsale freehold pte apartment recently, and completion date is around the corner. I spoke to the lawyer on what to expect, as it's my first pte property purchase. I was told that I'd only get the key, that's all... I was expecting proper floor plans, etc.. what's to be expected on completion day?

Would appreciate the answers! Thanks much.

Normally you will recieve the floor plan in advance and handbook to guide you along with the rules and regulation. all these details you could get from the agent who serve you.

While buying property is such an adrenaline-pumping experience for some, but taking procession of the unit almost like a non-event... almost like anti-climax.

But don't worry, it's normal. Just make sure after you collected the keys, check that all the keys are the right ones (especially each individual room rooms) and makes sure all fixtures are intact (eg aircon and lights).
