Hi, I bought a 3-room HDB flat with my dad 10 years ago due to his financial circumstances. I was then only 22. Now I plan to get married and get a new flat with my fiancé. To do so, I have to first sell away my current HDB but I am not too sure how to do it. My current flat had been attacked by loansharks before due to my dad’s problem. It has been a year plus since the last attack but stains are visible, and I can’t guarantee these loansharks would show up again. I doubt there will be anyone who would wanna buy it. I am thinking of selling it back to HDB. Is this possible? Or what should I do?

Morning Gavin, HDB seldom buy back units from owners unless under very special condition. For your case, you can try to market the unit at lower quantum and let the prospective buyer know that the harassment have not taken place for one year or so.
