Hi, I and wife are SC and own currently a HDB for more than 10 years. We're pretty sure that we can transfer ownership to one another. My question is , the person that has his ownership transfer out, meaning he is without a property to his name, can he go and buy a pte property and NOT pay ABSD... as an occupier in the hdb?

Hi, yes you could. My buyer has did that before, so no worries. Meaning you could purchase a condo without having to pay ABSD as this new private unit is your first property after all. Regards Aaron 97308455  aaronchong2774@yahoo.com.sg Read More

Hi Aaron, Thanks for your reply. Do you know if there's any taxes BSD/ADSD or any other fees incurred when we do the HDB transfer, by either parties? Thanks, Johnny
