I'm quite sure that the HDB officer would have indicated that after the application of the BTO have taken place, you will not be eligible to purchase resale HDB unit.

Hi,

Do note that once you have booked the BTO unit, you cannot purchase Resale HDB unless you opt to give up the booked BTO application. Thanks and hope it clarifies.
