Hi, I am single PR with my mom staying with me under a long term social visit pass (my dad passed away already). My sibling is outside Singapore and married already. Am i allowed to buy resale hdb under a public scheme (You must form a family nucleus with: your parents and siblings (if any)?

Hi czarina,

You are not eligible to purchase a resale HDB flat under any scheme.

If you want to purchase under public scheme, your mom has to be at least a PR which in this case, she is considered a foreigner.

As for non citizen family scheme, you are not a Singaporean thus this scheme doesn't work for you as well.

Alternative will be to look for a private housing.

Morning Czarina,

Purchase of HDB resale unit must involve at least one SC or two PR who are married to each other. There's no scheme available for single PR to purchase HDB unit with their parent/s who are non citizen.
