Hi,

Based on your post stating "never owned a property", "parents & 2nd owner of HDB flat".

There are 2 questions here:
(1) Are you buying with your daughter only?
(2) Are you buying with your parents and daughter?

For (1), you're eligible to buy a brand new EC using "Public Scheme".
For (2), you're able to buy resale EC (after 5yrs MOP or 10 years and above) only.

To start with, you have to look into your financial commitment and past credit history in order to satisfy TDSR requiremnet to get sufficient loan for the purchase.

Both new & resale has their own advantage and disadvantages.
Both are about the same buying price, however, it is only the size and location that made the difference.

Hope the above answer to your main concerns, but if there are more queries, please feel free to contact me at 90110636  , or email: ling.ck7@gmail.com if more information is needed.
I'll be glad to assist.

Best regards

Good afternoon,

You have indicated that you are the second owner of the unit that you are staying in. If this is the case, you might need to remove the ownership from the unit. It can be done if you had not contributed financially towards the unit. Otherwise, your parents need to get fund to buy over your share.

Do feel free to contact me for further discussion.
