Hi I am single and divorced and thanks to the advice here, I am sure I can buy a resale HDB flat. However, I still co-own a property overseas and due to housing crisis, I have not been able to sell it despite putting it up for sale for more than 1 year. If i went ahead to buy a HDB flat which is the only thing I can afford right now, would I risk the flat being repossessed? I tried disposing but without success!

Afternoon,

You might want to write in to HDB sales or resale department and bring your case up. It's likely that they will ask for objective evidence before working on your case. Slow and steady wins the race. This is one race which you do not want to rush into and engine up losing more than you can take.
