It's not possible.

She has to dispose off her overseas property first and observe 15 months waiting period before eligible to purchase with you under non citizen family scheme.

All applicants and occupiers listed in the resale application:

Must not own or have an interest in any local or overseas private residential property; and
Must not have disposed of any private residential property in the last 15 months before the resale application.

Hi,

In your case, you mum would need to dispose off her overseas property first and observe a wait out period of 15 months before she is eligible to purchase a resale flat together with you.

As long as she is holding on to an overseas property, it will not be possible. She will be required to dispose the property in Malaysia and wait out for 15 months period before being eligible to purchase a resale HDB.

Hi,

1) You (SC) are eligible to buy with your mom (LTVP) under the non-citizen family scheme.
2) However, due to the announcement made by MAS on 30 Sep 2022, all private property owner who sold their private property has to observe 15 months of a wait-out period before eligible to buy a resale HDB flat.
3) You may only buy with her after observing a 15-month wait-out period upon selling her property in Malaysia.
4) If there is a special situation in which she cannot sell her Malaysia property, you may submit an appeal to the HDB for an exception case.
5) Your appeal can be submitted via the feedback channel: https://services2.hdb.gov.sg/webapp/BF12AWFeedback/BF12SFrontController?service=ServiceFeedback&operation=createFeedback
6) You may start your buying process if your appeal result is positive.
