Hi, I am singapore PR and have been staying and work form home in BATAM since the pandemic outbreak.
I am planning to buy a HDB flat but not sure if i can go back to singapore because My flat contract has ended and i got to find a new one or buy a new flat.
is it possible to buy/rent while i am overseas?

Hi

It is possible to purchase or rent a place in Singapore without physically present. However I would advise against that unless you are certain to return back to Singapore soon or your family members are still in Singapore and they have no place of stay.
