Hi, I am planning to buy a HDB resale flat at $700K, with COV of $80K. Understand I am required to pay a 5% cash +15% CPF deposit. Question: - Can the 5% cash deposit be considered as part of the $80K COV cash? Thank you.

Hi Mrs Tan

Nope you can't, as the 2 component are different and you have to pay separately.

Pls feel free to let me know if you need any assistance. Cheers!

Afternoon Mrs. Tan,

Loan are dispersed based on valuation price. 5%cash is the cash deposit component if you obtained an 80% loan. COV, on the other hand, is cash payable on top of valuation price. Hence it's not possible to lump this two component into one.
