Hi,

I am planning to apply for the February 2022 Geylang BTO with my boyfriend and my single living mother who is intending to retire in the next 2-3 years and brother of aged under 35 is also keen in the same estate.

Will my mother (Singaporean) and brother (Singapore PR) be able to apply for a 4-room BTO together? My mother has not applied for any BTO previously and this would be her first try.

Hi,

1) Your mother is eligible to apply with your brother under the Public scheme for a BTO (4-rm).
2) If you are married you and your mother can apply via the MGPS (Multi-Generation Priority Scheme). This will increase the priority and chance of getting 2 flats in the same area or even the same level.
